Ro

The islet of Ro (or Agios Georgios, ancient Rogi or Rope) is located west of Kastelorizo and at a distance of 5,600 m from the Turkish coast.

There is the monument of Despina Achladioti, the famous Lady of Ro. Today it is inhabited by a small detachment of the Greek Army, whose main concern is to raise every day and to protect the Greek flag, thus continuing the tradition of Lady of Ro.
