Holy Cross chapel

Holy Cross church is a short distance from the village (Chorio) of Chalki and is a later building dedicated to the Holy Cross. The original building is located right next to the church, within the small courtyard. It is a Byzantine chapel, one of the oldest buildings on the island. Inside, there are few frescoes left, while the floor is paved with stones from Chalki.
