The cave of the Seal

The Blue Cave is on the southeastern side of the island, twenty minutes by boat from the harbor. It is the largest and most beautiful of the caves in Greece. It is 75 meters long and 35 meters high. The entrance of the cave is comparatively low at the height of the small boat and the passengers are often bent. The cave is decorated with stalactites that create a unique spectacle. It also preserves the names of "Cave of Parasta" or "Fokiali", from the monachus monachus seals residing there.

How to go

Access to the cave is via small boats that are moored in the port of Kastelorizos. The routes are relatively frequent (around 40 minutes) and depend on the number of people interested in visiting the Blue Grotto. For this reason, during your transfer you may also travel with other people in order to have the appropriate occupancy of people on the boat.

The transportation cost is applied per person and is relatively affordable by everyone.
