Aliki is a small, picturesque beach with fine pebbles. It is crystal clear and away from major tourist destinations as it is not widely known. It is suitable for people looking for quiet beaches. The sound of the waves of this stunning natural beach, the intense smell of the sea and the few people are the main components for relaxation and tranquility.
However, the sea is rougher with steep sinking waters. Before you go check the weather, as it usually has a bit of a ripple. If you choose to visit the beach in the evenings, you can enjoy the incredible view of the starry sky, away from the city lights.
The beach is west of the island, following the road after Monolithos Castle. The route after the Castle is downhill with many turns, but the beauty and tranquility of the beach will keep you justified. Access is easy by car, but some sections of the road may not be asphalted.
There is also a parking lot available just above the beach.
